running errands
Dear diary, July 26th, 07
Today, my dad and I ran a ton of errands. First we went to get my dad’s new glasses at the eye place even though I hate going there because the people are so rude, when you walk in they completely ignore you like you aren‘t even there. My dad’s glasses are really big. But he wanted them that way so that when he plays billiards he won’t be looking over his glasses. Then, we went to circle K and my dad got his cigarettes, than we went to the pool store and got a vacuum for our pool. After we were done at the pool store we went out to the car and my dad’s blazer wouldn’t start! Great! It was actually not that bad, it wasn’t as hot today as it usually is, we had a little breeze. I tried multiple times to call my mom to come pick us up. But she left early from work so didn’t get my messages. Finally some guy decides to be nice and he helps us by jump starting our car. Than we went to Auto zone to get a new battery so that we could finish running our errands. And just like the people at the eye place they completely ignore us. I was really mad. I hate it when a customer walks in a store about to buy something and they act like they don’t care about anyone but them selves. It makes me want to walk right out the door! But in this case we couldn’t because our car wasn’t working. So we just went and got the battery and paid, fixed it and left. After the battery was fixed we went to Walgreen’s and my dad got some things for his cancer spots, hopefully it will get rid of them and I got some coffee frap chino. After that we went to Wal-Mart to get a router for the internet in our house, my dad also got some shoes and sodas. That was the end of our errands. But two days ago I went to my clarinet lesson and found out that my old piano teacher had passed away. That is so sad because she was really nice to me. My clarinet teacher said that she wasn’t a very nice person and even wrote out her own daughter out of her will. That is sad. But I knew a good piano teacher, I hope she is happy in heaven. When I got back from my piano lesson my dad’s best friend and his kids were over. So we just sat around talking while my dad and his best friend Gordon talked. They can talk forever. every time we go over to his house, my dad says it is only going to be a few minutes it ends up being 2-3 hours. But that is good I am glad my dad has friends. Well that is all that has been going on.
Love, Tayler!

I was sorry to hear about Dory. She was so stubborn, the dr told her she would die in 6 months and she lived for another year and a half. Just goes to show, you can keep on fighting no matter what the experts say. They don’t always have the answers. I hope Roberta keeps the shop because I know you like seeing her for your clarinet lessons.
