Dear diary, September 30, 07

Yesterday I went to my friend, Julianne, birthday party. It was a ton of fun. It was a pool party so the pool water was kind of cold but we were going back and forth between the hot tub and the pool so that we would stay warm. I was worried going to her party because I wasn’t sure who was going in the first place but then I got there and I knew almost everyone there. I knew them but hadn’t talked to them all in a long time. I hung out with my friend Alec the whole time. We were having a competition between who could get to the hot tub or pool first because when ever we were switching between the hot tub and pool me and Alec would always be last so we were joking around and hurrying to each of them. We were also laughing about this girl Adina showed up to Julianne’s party uninvited. She just came with this girl that was invited. But I think that is kind of rude, even though your best friend was invited doesn’t mean you were. But I am glad she showed up because it was funny talking about it with Alec. The crazy thing was she did the same thing to Hailey. Brea was invited to Hailey’s party but Adina came with her uninvited. I didn’t know she wasn’t invited to Hailey’s party until after Julianne’s party. That’s messed up! I wouldn’t go to a party I wasn’t invited even if my best friend begged me to because what if the person that was having the party said something about it, I would be humiliated. And why go somewhere where you aren’t wanted. It was a fun party though. Alec was cracking me up because when we went to go get chips and salsa, Alec was singing so I told him he should go on American Idol then Julianne’s brother asked him a question about American Idol but Alec didn’t hear quite what he said so he just laughed. But after we got the chips and salsa he told me he couldn’t understand what Julianne’s brother was saying, so he just laughed! It reminded me of Madagascar the movie where those psychotic penguins said “Smile and wave boys.” I couldn’t stop laughing. The party was fun but not as fun as mine!

Lots of parties this year. I have been to three already this school year including mine. And I have been invited to another party next weekend. How awesome! But the party that is next weekend is a 8^th graders party and I don’t want to be the only ninth graders there so I will have to see if Amanda can go who was also invited.

Last Thursday I stayed after school to make up a test I missed in science. When I was leaving the classroom to walk outside to wait for my mom to come pick me up I saw my friends Nina and Jaclyn sitting with a boy I didn’t know. So I walked up to them. The boys name was Bill. Bill was saying he had no friends and stuff like that. I didn’t believe him at first because everyone has friends! So I told him that we would be his friends but it didn’t seem to make him feel better. Right then this guy walks by with a girl and he says ” Wow Bill I didn’t know you actually had friends.” What a jerk! I said yeah we are his friends. Then I believed Bill that he didn’t have any friends. But I think that Bill may have done something to make people not like him because people don’t hate other people for no reason. But I cant really do anything. I cant make people like him but if I see him in the hall I will say Hi to him, but that’s all I can do. I fell bad for him but I don’t know the whole story. Even if he did do something to make people hate him it doesn’t excuse peoples behavior and they shouldn’t make comment like Wow you actually have friends to anyone. Not only because it is wrong but also you don’t know who you are messing with. That kid could go crazy because of the bullying. Not saying that I think the kid is a threat I just wouldn’t bully someone because you never know what they are going to do. Well that was my day!

My all time favorite movie is “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffrey Rush. My favorite character is Captain Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp. Captain Jack Sparrow is smart yet loony at the same time. Well it is about pirates that are trying to get rid of a curse that they got from stealing the treasure of Cortez. They took all of the Aztec pieces and traded them. Well Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) also known as the governors daughter had the last piece to the treasure that the pirates needed to get rid of the curse that they got from stealing the treasure in the first place. So they went to go get it from Elizabeth. Well Orlando’s character Will was deeply in love with Elizabeth. So when the pirates kidnapped Elizabeth, Will is not too happy but he had no one to turn to but another pirate Captain Jack Sparrow to show him where the other pirates were. Captain Jack Sparrow knows exactly what he is doing from the very beginning about taking Will to his beloved and getting his profit in taking Will, which is his own love, a pirate ship. But not any pirate ship, the fastest and best ship in the Caribbean, a ship called the Black Pearl. Hence the title. Even though Captain Jack Sparrow knows exactly what he is going to do, he shows his loony side while trying to get his ship. He went a little crazy after being marooned on an island for three days by the pirates who are cursed before escaping. It is funny and adventuress but best of all it is a great thought out story. It had a little twist at the end, and when I first saw it I was surprised in a good way. I knew it was my favorite movie before it was even half way through. If you haven’t seen this yet you should hurry to the closest movie rental store and see it. Plus Johnny Depp looks really good in a pirate out fit and black eyeliner!

I have only heard one song by this band called Paramore but I know I am going to fall in love with this band. I heard the song “Misery Business”. I first saw the music video and fell in love with that song and the video. It is an alternative song and I believe they are an alternative band but I am not sure. The second I heard that song I knew I had to buy it on Itunes. So I went and bought the video and the song. I like the video because it is different than other music videos I have seen. I also like the singer’s hair in the video. Each time I see her hair I am shocked because the color is yellow and orange. It is so different. I don’t think I have ever seen that before. Well I really like Paramore and I hope that I get their c.d. soon. I bet it has a lot of good songs.

Dear diary, September, 16, 07

Yesterday I went to my friend’s birthday party! Her name is Hailey. Well I went to the mall in the morning to get her a gift with my friend Amanda who also was going to the party. We went around the mall all day but Amanda didn’t have any money so she didn’t buy anything. I bought two pairs of shoes from Pacson. They were Roxy shoes! I love them so much they are so cute! I also got a shirt/ sweater from Anchor Blue! It is white and it so cute, I really like it. I am going to wear it tomorrow. But I hadn’t bought Hailey a birthday gift yet and either had Amanda. Amanda’s mom works in JC Pennys . Amanda told her sister to go ask her mom for some money to buy Hailey a gift but her mom wouldn’t give her any money. I was getting mad at Amanda’s mom! Then when her mom finally got off work she told us that we had to buy Hailey something in JC Pennys because she wanted to look around for herself. I couldn’t believe it! She wouldn’t give Amanda money and she would not go out of JC Pennys so that Amanda could but something with her mom outside of that store. But we finally figured it out. I got her a girt certificate to American Eagle. We got to the park where we started out Hailey’s party and we were kind of early. It was a lot of fun there, we played football and Frisbee. Plus there was a lot of people there. After we spent a few hours at the park we went to Hailey’s house to swim and eat cake. It was a lot of fun just hanging out because I couldn’t go swimming because I was on my period. But I hung out and partied with everyone!

Her party just made me more excited for my party. It is this Sunday! I already know like eight of my friends that can go. I invited fifteen people. I think it is the biggest party I have had in a long time. I am so excited it is going to be so much fun!

Speaking of parties my friend Yolanda is having a Quince that is a party where Hispanics have a big party when they turn fifteen like a sweet sixteen! Well she asked me to be one of her dancers! That sounds so fun! Well I have to pick a partner that is around my height. So I picked my friend Blake. He is exactly my height! Yeah we have to learn the Waltz. I don’t know what kind of dance that is but it sounds fun no matter what! She might change her dance to all girls but it will still be fun!

My friend Julianne is having a birthday party not this weekend but nest weekend. It is like party central! Ha-ha.

Well I wrote that on the 16 but it is now the 25. I just got really busy and wasn’t able to finish that article. Well my party has passed! It was so much fun! 11 people showed up, 12 if you include me. My friends Kelsey, Julianne, Nina, Chelsey, Amanda, Enzo, Kashanawa, Leah, Katie, Keyla, and Blake came. It was one of the biggest parties I have ever had. We went swimming and my dad made us hot dogs. We didn’t do anything special but we took tons of pictures. It was one of the best parties I have been to.

School is getting harder and harder. I just have so much homework. I am getting it all done but it takes hours. that’s why I haven’t had time to write a blog in a long time. I want to though. I like writing my thought and feelings everyday.

When my friend Amanda came to my party she brought me a dress to wear tomorrow. She is going to wear the black one that looks just like it and I am going to wear the green and I think but I am not sure that our friend Torre is going to wear the red one. I think it is a cute dress but I am afraid it is going to look funny on me. Oh well it will look fine when everyone sees us together.

Well that is what has been going on in my life. Pretty boring huh?

Dear diary, September 12, 07

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness… my parents just agreed that I could have a party! And it isn’t even my birthday! I am so excited. I usually am not allowed to have a party with out having a reason like my birthday but I am just having a pool party for the heck of it! Well I guess I have never asked to have a party except when it is my birthday! But this is so exciting! It is going to be at my house and it is going to be a pool party since I just got a new pool! I can invite 10-15 people! I am so happy, it is going to be the biggest party I have ever had. I am just nervous like I always get when I have a party…. I don’t know who to invite and who not to. Because if people don’t get invited they get mad and then I have to deal with it. I don’t want anyone to be mad at me but I am going to invite only people I really want to be there! Oh I can’t wait. I will give more details when I figure them out.

I am having a little problem with this girl in my weight training class. Well I guess it isn’t my problem but she is an 8^th grader and she keeps following me around. I am being really nice to her but I think she is kind of weird because I haven’t even talked to her before and she is always asking me for advice for her love life. I don’t understand. Sometimes she writes me notes when we don’t dress out and it is always like should I go for this new guy that I think I like. I always tell her yes go for it! To try and give her confidence. She also acts like really preppy. There are mirrors in the weight training room and she is always messing with her hair and then she moans really loud like her hair is making her mad, but I think she only does it for attention. But the truth is I don’t know her very well. Today I walked in to the locker room and I saw these chicks picking on her. Later I asked Porsha (the chick that asks me for advice) what was with that but what she was telling me didn’t make any sense. I was about to tell our teacher because I feel bad for her, but my friend Yolanda said that Porsha said something to them first. I don’t know what to believe but I think I should tell me weight training teacher tomorrow. Porsha has told me that she goes to the counselors office to complain about things a lot. It makes me think that a lot of people don’t like her. That may be why she is clinging to me, but it just means that if a lot of people don’t like her then she is in more need of a friend. I want to be a good friend to her but I don’t know if I can stand her attitude.

As you have noticed I have finally learned how to make a paragraph! My dad is going to be really proud of me! I knew how to make a paragraph before but I just don’t like using them! Ha-ha!

The other night I spent the night at my friend Nina’s house. It was a lot of fun. I haven’t been to her house in a long time! We just hung out and talked. We also got dressed up and took pictures! Ha-ha. Then on Monday we went to the mall and bought her mom a birthday gift because today is Nina’s mom’s birthday. We got her a wallet, well Nina got the wallet I just helped her pick it out! Ha-ha!

This weekend is my friend Hailey’s birthday! I can’t wait for that either! She is going to be fifteen. It is going to be a pool party also. She invited everyone that she knows though! It is going to be a huge party! I can’t wait! My party is going to be better than hers! ha-ha!

Well I have to go to bed. Today was late start but I am still tired. I cant wait to make the invitations for my party!

Dear diary, September 6, 07

I am really sorry that I haven’t written in here in a long time. I know I should. Especially since I am trying to pay for my college education with this site. And my father wrote an article asking to send money to go towards saving money for college. I want to go to Stanford. And I know it is going to be an expensive school to go to but I am going to work hard this year to hopefully get a scholarship. That is why I haven’t written in here for a while. But I guess that means I have a lot to say. Well I went to the football game yesterday. It was really fun. I brought my two friends Erica and Katie. Since they live really close to me. I was really mad at Erica because as soon as we got to the game I wanted to cheer on one of my friends that is a cheer leader! So I went and said hi to her then I went right back to Katie and Erica, then Erica wanted to go down the ramp to see her friend Harlie but me and Katie just wanted to sit down and watch the game. So me and Katie stayed right in front of the ramp while Erica went and said hi to Harlie. Then as soon as Erica came back she wanted to go up to the very top of the bleachers to sit with HER friend Elani but me and Katie are not friends with Elani. So we didn’t want to go up there but we did just to be nice and we didn’t really have a preference so we went up there. Erica sat next to Elani and me and Katie sat next to each other. Then out of no where Erica turns to us and says she wants to leave. Then I started to get mad because she is the one that wanted to go up there in the first place and I didn’t feel like going all over the stadium. So me and Katie followed Erica all the way down the bleachers then at the very bottom I was waiting on Erica to sit down somewhere because I figured she would have somewhere to go since she wanted to leave the top of the bleachers. So I asked we were following you Erica, where do you want to go? I said it kind of mean because I was sick of being expected to follow her around like a puppy dog. So then she got mad at me gave me a dirty look and asked me why are you getting all mad at me? I just told her I wasn’t mad at her because I was hoping that after we sat down it would get all better. But no it did not get better. We sat down and right away Erica gets up and leaves me and Katie. She said she was going to be right back but she didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. 15 minutes doesn’t seem like a long time but when it is only a 2 hour game that is a 8^th of the time. So she came back and two minutes later she left again. She was up sitting with HER friend Elani. So even if me and Katie wanted to go up there we would feel uncomfortable. It wasn’t like me and Katie were loners we had a lot of our friends around us but I didn’t come to the game with those people I came with Erica and Katie. Erica and Katie were the people I wanted to be at the game with. So Erica was gone for about an hour before Katie decides to text her on my phone. Katie said are you ever going to come see us again? And Erica just was making excuses for why she didn’t want to be us. So I just told Katie to tell her at least enjoy the people she is with. But I think Erica felt bad because she said she is sorry if we felt like she ditched us. Which isn’t a real apology because we didn’t feel that she ditched us, the truth is that she DID ditch us. What made me even more mad was when it came time to leave I couldn’t find Erica! Because I hadn’t seen her in more than an hour I had no idea where she was. So me and Katie went looking for her, and we found her and she said she was getting a ride from her brother! Which it would have been nice if she told me before we had to leave that very moment! So I wasted all that time looking for her, for nothing. Well I guess it was good that I didn’t give a ride home because I was really mad at her, I might have said something to her and I would rather just be like whatever. I have been getting really tired of her attitude, acting like she is better and smarted than everyone. I think that she likes the feeling of being fought over. that’s why I told Katie to stop giving her attention because she probably like a couple asking her to come be with them. And I bet she was telling the people she was with that we were being mean to her and that we hated her and stuff like that. In fact I know she did because my friend Niko came up to me asking if I was mad at Erica. I told him kind of. But I want to be her friend but I don’t want to have to put up with getting mad at her so often. I am not going to follow her around like a puppy and then have her ditch me when I brought her to the game! It was kind of like the other day I was going to buy her a little something for lunch. I only had a dollar so I was also going to have something small. As we were standing in line for lunch I was telling her a story about some random thing and she interrupts me to tell me that she is going to go sit down. I was shocked because I was right in the middle of a sentence, so that showed she wasn’t listening to me and she didn’t care about me. I said do you still want me to buy you something? She said yeah. But I couldn’t help saying so I am supposed to stand and wait in line to buy you something while you get to go sit down relax and have some fun talking to all our friends. And she couldn’t even wait five minutes waiting in line with me. I felt like just saying forget you! So she said I cant stay in one place for a long time. But I have been her friend for three years and I know that is a lie. She was just making up excuses to go away. But I have another friend that stood there with me. Her name is Chelsey. She has been my friend for five years and she is awesome I love that chica. But I could not believe I am expected to do things for a friend that cant wait in line for five minutes with me. Well the final score at the football game was 43 to 25. We kicked butt! I like going to the games this year because I know all the football players. Last year I went to all the home games but just to see my friends because I didn’t know any of the football players. it’s a lot of fun to go! I have had a lot of work to do in school but I think I am doing good because at least I am doing it and not just saying oh well. I bought a whole bunch of new songs on itunes. Plus I got three music videos and another movie. I have a video ipod. Its really cool because when I am on the road I can watch a movie or a music video. Well now I have two of my favorite movies on my ipod, The Hot Chick and Pirates of the Carribean: the Curse Of The Black Pearl. Oh my goodness the coolest thing happened! We finally got concrete in our backyard around our pool! It looks so awesome! I am so excited, because I want to have a pool party with a lot of people invited to celebrate such an awesome pool! But when I asked my mom she said I can only have 3 people come over. I want more than that! But maybe I will have to wait for my birthday. I hope not but I will keep asking my mom! It just looks so great out there and I want to show it off! I went to the movies and saw the Bourne Ultimatum. I liked all the action the story was really slow though. The first two movie were a hit because of the action to this time they only pretty much only had action. But I liked it but it gave me a headache from the camera angles. My parents didn’t like it at all. Well that was pretty much my week!
