Santa’s presents
Dear Diary, December 26, 2007
The reason why my family opens gifts on Christmas eve is because we like to split up the gifts we get from the family and the presents we get from Santa Claus.
This year from Santa I got a new DVD and VHS player. It is just one player and it has DVD and VHS players in it. I got that because I broke my other DVD player. Well I didn’t brake it, it broke on its own. And of course I got a stocking like every year. The stocking is my favorite part. I don’t know why but I love looking at all the stuff inside it. This year I had Pirates of the Caribbean: at World’s End, an Itunes Gift card for 15 dollars, a Starbucks gift card, chocolate, a sterling silver bracelet, lots of gum, a toothbrush, lip gloss, and a interesting looking book called Buried Onions by Gary Soto. I started it and it is confusing so far but still looks like it will end up good. When I was younger I used to get a banana and sometimes an orange or an apple in my stocking. I always thought that was super funny. I don’t get fruit in my stocking anymore. Ha-ha. I would also not care about any of the toys I got I would stop everything and eat the chocolate that was in my stocking first before I even looked at the toys or anything else. I love Christmas.
Like I told you before I didn’t really want anything for Christmas this year. I already had everything I needed. But than after I got everything I realized I did want a lot of things and I got them all. I am going shopping with my mother tomorrow. We are going to go to the mall and I don’t know where else. I want to use my Starbucks card to get a caramel frappuccino. I have been craving one. I also want to get a hair cut. Right now I have 305 dollars. But I am not going to spend 120 it because that is on my money tree and I don’t want to mess up my money tree. I also got 140 dollars from my other grandparents. I am rich! Ha-ha. I don’t want to spend it all. I just have to buy clothes that’s it. I like to shop though and I will probably end up spending it all.
Love,
Tayler!
