I can’t wait to see the new movie, Step Up 2 The Streets. They have some cool songs in it. Like “Low” by Flo Rida and “Push” by Enrique Iglesias featuring Lil Wayne. I love the song “Push”. Enrique steps out of his usual music and he does a spectacular job. I love the beat of it. It is defiantly a song you can dance to. I like Lil Wayne’s part in the song too. It is really cool in the beginning, after Lil Wayne sings, when they have a rewinding sound and then Enrique starts singing. He is so awesome!

Dear diary, February 17, 2008
Friday I went to my friend Savannah’s party. It was a lot o fun. About fifty people were there. Everyone was just hanging out and having fun. There was a big dance off. I recorded it on my phone. There was a pool table so everyone was taking turns plaing pool. When it as my turn I didn’t do so well. Brett and Cameron kept hitting my stick to mess me up. Sometimes I do well at pool but sometimes I am really awful! It was a fun party. I want my party to be like that. Just have a bunch of people hanging out. That would be fun but my parents don’t like house parties.
Yesterday I went to my friend Zoraya’s quince. She didn’t invite a ton of people like Savannah did. Only like seven or eight people but about a hundred people were there. She has a huge family. When I first got there with my friend Ana the pastor was talking. He was talking in Spanish so Ana had to translate for me. The pastor was saying “even though you are grown up, you still have to listen to your parents. You can’t party any time you want and stay young. Don’t go get pregnant and turn into a mother because you’re not ready for that.” And this pregnant young woman stood up and left. It was funny. I am so soar today because we were dancing a ton. I was excited the whole night for the dancers to come out because I wanted to see what I would be doing. Finally they did. The dances were sort of boring. They did four or five dances and they were just stepping side to side and then Zoraya was in the middle and she did some turns. But It wasn’t like a big twirly waltz. And then everyone else went back to the dance floor. Since quinces are for Hispanic people, 90% of the songs were in Spanish. I had no idea what the songs were but it was still fun. I had a great time.
My sister and I were thinking that we were going to have our birthday parties at the Renaissance Festival. I think that would be a lot of fun but I would only be able to invite up to 15 people. That wouldn’t be a bad amount of people it is just that I want to invite a lot more people and do something like Savannah did. Having a party at the Renaissance Festival would be different than any other parties. The reason why it would be with my sister is because the Renaissance people only stay in town for about a month and a half. My sister’s birthday isn’t till the end of April but if we were going to rent a 15 person van we would split the cost and go at the same time. The only thing is I wanted it closer to my birthday and my sister wants it closer to her birthday. She wants it in the middle of March but my birthday was at the beginning of February. Ohh well I guess that would be okay. I am excited to just have a party though.
Gwen Stefani is so unique. She just has her own style in everything, her clothes and in her music. One of my favorites is “The Sweet Escape”. The “Whee Whoo” is so catchy. In the music video it made me crack up when she let down her hair like Rapunzel and threw it down the building so she could make a “Sweet Escape”. Akon also has a small part in this song. He always sounds good though. I really like this song. It is super unique.Love,

Fergie really does have an amazing voice. The song “Big Girls Don’t Cry” proves that. The first couple times I heard it, on the radio, I had no clue who was singing. Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Panic! At The Disco has come out with another song called “Nine in the afternoon.” Yay! They are making a c.d.! that rocks. This song is interesting it is not like their first c.d. It is not loud and punk rock. I mean it is alternative but more calm. They still have that piano/ organ in there and it is unique like their first c.d. Like usual they made a pretty weird music video. It made me laugh the first time I saw it because the main singer, Brendon Urie, is vacuuming into the camera on the floor. It looks hilarious. If you like Panic! At The Disco as much as I do, you should check out this song. I like it already.

My favorite show is Degrassi. The saddest episode was where my favorite character J.T Yorke was murdered. During his memorial at his school they played the song “Say What You Will” by Damhnait Doyle. It was so sweet and nearly made me cry. You know sad moments aren’t as sad unless they pick the perfect song to go with it. And “Say What You Will” was the perfect song for that moment. I love the beginning where she says “If I were to die today, my life would be more than okay” I love that line! Its so sweet that I why I decided to put this song on Valentines Day. Although it isn’t very romantic, it is the sweetest song. Happy Valentines Day!

The best Hannah Montana song I have ever heard is “Nobody’s Perfect“. It is so much fun. I always sing it, and I don’t sing song unless I am listening to them. My favorite song by Ashlee Simpson is “Love Me For Me” what I like about it is the attitude. Right from the beginning she is telling off the guy. She has such a unique voice. Kind of deep and low but she can sing. In my opinion I think she has more talent than her sister and applies herself better. I like almost all the songs on her Autobiography album except I didn’t like “Shadow” because the first line is “I was six years old, when my parents went away.” her parents didn’t go away.
