School Update!
Dear Diary, September 28, 2008
Wow. This year is passing by real quick. I am just loving school. Just a quick update on all my classes.
First hour, Pilates, is awesome. I am loving the cardio days. It is a lot of running but I am getting better and I like seeing the improvement. And now we are starting to input our nutrition online. Which helps me notice how much I am eating.
My second hour, English, is doing fine. Do you ever have one of those classes where you have an easy going teacher, hardly any homework, and a really easy class? Well this class is one of those classes. Think that is a good thing? Well not for me. I tend to get so wrapped up in my hard classes that I forget to study in the easy class. I am trying really hard to work the same in every class.
Spanish is getting harder and harder. We started reading a book that is all Spanish. HARD! I was really confused until I started focusing and breaking stuff down. My teacher is getting annoyed with our class so he is graded harder too.. And that is the last thing I need.
Study hall is still cool, but we got a seating chart so I can’t sit with my friends anymore. But that might be a good thing, so I can actually study.
Math is getting harder too. But luckily I have a couple of good teachers. I think if I get behind at all then I will go ask them for help. We are doing proofs, and they are hard but I think I can do them.
Biology, my sixth hour, is my worst class. It is not the hardest but I hate my teacher. She is so stupid! I mean it. I do not understand her directions at all. How can you learn, when you don’t know what you are supposed to do? I am not the only one feeling this way either! My whole class is confused. I have a lot of friends in that class, so I always text them on what we have to do for homework and they are not sure! Drives me crazy.
But I am doing really good this year. I got either an A or a B in all my classes. Which makes me happy because I am no longer grounded. I want to do good this year. Nothing would make me more happy.
Love,
Tayler!
