I just finished listening to Katy Perry’s entire new c.d. called “One Of The Boys”. And I gotta say it is a great c.d. I mean of course it has it’s ups and downs but over all I liked all the songs.
My favorite songs of hers are “I Kissed A Girl”, “Hot N’ Cold”, and “Waking Up in Vegas”. I think all those songs are super funny and most importantly fun to listen to. I always dance and jump around when I hear “I Kissed A Girl” and I am always singing to myself in the mirror when I hear “Hot N’ Cold”. I think Katy Perry does an excellent job providing fun songs for any audience.
Some of her weaker songs are “Ur So Gay”, “Mannequin” and “Lost”. I thought “Ur So Gay” was a worthless song. I mean not fun to listen to, not good… anything. Some people may even find it offensive. “Mannequin” was just an extremely boring song. I was interested into this song at all. “Lost” was the worst song on the c.d. because of the music and the singing. I didn’t care for her singing and the music was boring. They didn’t go together.
But over all I love Katy Perry and I think she is an amazing singer. She proved it with “I Kissed A Girl”. So I hope she keeps up the good work and hopefully she doesn’t just sing what people write for her. I hope she sings that are her and that she likes because if she likes it then her audience (me) will like it too.
My new favorite song is “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry! I know right? It sounds a little weird because a girl sings it but it such a great song. I listen to a radio show called JohnJay and Rich and they had an interview with Madonna about a week ago. Madonna said her favorite song was “Ur So Gay” by Katy Perry. And then this morning they had an interview with Katy Perry so I decided I would check her out and I found this song! It has like the best beat and her voice is awesome! I don’t know if she is serious in this song (about kissing a girl) but I don’t care! It is a great song! I think it is funny when she says “I hope my boyfriend don’t mind it”. Ha-ha. I like finding new artist and songs and this is the best one that I have found recently. She is a good singer, so I am going to go listen to her other songs. I bet I will like them because I like this one so much!

Oh my goodness! I love Chris brown’s new song “Forever”. It is such a cute song and I love the beat! I like that the beat doesn’t over power Chris Brown but it flows with him and it is steady. He truly the best! I can’t even explain how great this song is. It is the best song he has made. I went on YouTube to see if it had a music video, and one video said this song was featuring Lil Wayne. I don’t know if that is true but if it is, Lil Wayne doesn’t have that big of a part. I haven’t even noticed if he is in the song. The only place that he could be in it is the very beginning. Someone says 1,2,3,4.. Then the song starts. That could be him, I guess. Well I did find a music video. I think it is the music video because it goes with the song, plus he is singing the words to it. Also I haven’t seen the clip before. The reason why I question if it is his music video to this song is because usually they don’t allow you to copy the code on new songs. I do not know why because it would only help people listen to your song, but usually the artist or producer cuts off the embedding code. I love this song! It’s really good. And I needed something to switch up my play list.

I love the song “Mad Season” by Matchbox 20. Me and my mom can jam out to this song for hours! I like when he says “I feel stupid.” and “I feel ugly, but I know I still turn you on”. Rob Thomas is just an amazing singer. I think this music video is crazy! Matchbox 20 is getting off a plane and a lot of fans are waiting for them. And these fans go crazy! Seriously! The are hurting the band. The police are trying to get them away but there are a lot more fans than police so it is hard. Then when the finally get in the limo the fans ATTACK the limo! It was weird because all of a sudden the police and fans start dancing in the middle of the craziness. I wonder if people are really like that? Just to get near a band or artist? Probably. I mean people were getting stampeded by other people just to get near Matchbox 20. That’s MAD! Ha-ha. I saw them in concert once but I wasn’t getting stampeded because people are going nuts. Thank goodness because I was just a kid. Nevertheless, I like this song, it is a awesome song! Probably one of their best songs! Yep, I would have tot say it is one of their best.

The theme song to Hannah Montana the TV show is “Best of Both Worlds”. I like this song alright but I think the use the best parts of the song in the theme. So that is like the only part that I like, is the part the use for the theme song and the rest of the song isn’t so great to me. It is perfect for her and her show because it explains how she likes to be both Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. The perks of being each. I think it would be really cool to be a normal person and a pop star. But to be pop star you would have to be able to sing, which I can’t. And this song is about keeping her normal life to herself which she doesn’t at all. I mean everyone knows Hannah Montana is Miley Cyrus and Miley Cyrus is Hannah Montana. But that is why it is the theme song! I like it as the theme song but not as a whole song. She looks super young in the music video! This is like the first song she did, and she did an excellent job. But you can see how much she has changed from this song to “Rockstar”. I think she has natural talent.

My favorite song by Ne-Yo is “Because Of You”. Do you know how many song are called “Because Of You”? there is one by Nickelback, Kelly Clarkson, and now there is one by Ne-Yo. I think Ne-Yo’s is the best. I love the beat right at the beginning where the base drum is just pounding. It does that through the whole song but you don’t really pay attention to it, because you’re distracted by Ne-Yo awesome singing! This is the only song I have bought on his latest c.d. which is also called “Because Of You”. Ha-ha. It is about him cheating and feeling bad about it. The music video is just a music video to me. It has nothing special to it. This song is very unique, and although the title is common, I haven’t heard anything like this before. It is great!

“Say Goodbye” by Chris Brown is one of the reasons I fell in love with him. This is either the first song or one of the first songs that I heard by him. I listened to it because it was the sweetest song. It was also my first ringtone! Besides the ones that the phone comes with. It is a break-up song but I still think it is really sweet. I like the way he says everything. He is so cute, he says “Sometimes it makes me wanna cry”! How adorable!? In the lyrics it says “There’s never a right time to say goodbye” that is so true! But sometimes it has to be done and he explains that, so it is also relatable. This song was for Step Up the movie, and on the dvd there was a music video for it. I loved the music video for many reasons. First of all Chris Brown was in it. Second of all, it is related to the song! Thirdly Chris Brown was in it! In the video he almost cheated on his girlfriend and she walked in as he was about to kiss this other girl. And of course she was mad. I hope Chris Brown is not really like that. His girlfriend was snobby and mean in the music video anyway, so I can see why he wanted out of that relationship! She made him so crazy that it drove him to cheating, not really his fault. Ha-ha. He is a really awesome dancer in the video too! Chris Brown seems so perfect! He is so hot and cute, he can sing, dance and act (he even sings about his feelings), he seems really nice and kind! I just like him and his music a lot! I could listen to this song for hours! It really is great!

Oh my gosh! The best song that I have heard from Panic! At The Disco is “Mad As Rabbits”!!!! It is so different from their songs on their first c.d. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. I LOVE the beginning when Brendon Urie says “Come Save me from walking off a windowsill” and then Ryan Ross (who plays guitar most of the time) sings a verse after Brendon in the song. And surprisingly he does a excellent job! I still like Brendon best but now I know the Ryan’s name now. This is the slowest and the quietest song that I have heard by Panic! At The Disco. The music video is pretty weird. All their songs don’t really make sense but I think I understand this one a little bit. Because the music video has a part where the band is drinking tea wearing hats, I think it has to do a little bit with Alice In Wonderland. Well not that is has to do with it, but that it is similar to Alica In Wonderland. Plus it is called “Mad As Rabbits” and in Alice In Wonderland there were rabbits that were mad. And the rabbits were drinking tea and wearing hats! Ha-ha. I guess you could say it is Pretty. Odd. Ha-ha that is the name of their new c.d. that this song is on. I think the new title suits them and definitely this song. I am in love with it already and I can’t wait till I hear their other new songs.

The best song on Fergie’s c.d. Dutchess is “Pedestal”. It is one of the coolest songs I have ever heard. I love the beat. It is kind of snappy! When I first heard it I thought the little child’s voice was annoying so I wouldn’t listen to the whole song. But then I finally did and it is my favorite song by her. Not only is it my favorite song by her but even when she was in Black Eyed Peas, it is better than all those songs. I love the lyrics in the chorus and how she pronounces it. The only thing I don’t like about the song is she says “you think I don’t see you on the internet” and you can hear typing in the back ground. But it is very brief and since I haven’t heard it without the typing, I don’t know which I would like better with or without the typing. I don’t usually listen to all the many things going in the song but there really is a lot of parts in song. At parts flutes come it and add a little rhythm. Then another instrument comes in and adds something, but you don’t really hear it if you are singing and jamming out to the song. I learned how to listen to the many parts in a song from band. And now that I have started to really listen to the songs I like them all the more. The little child’s voice (that I used to think was annoying) in the beginning of this song is singing “The Pedestal is falling down, falling down, falling down….” just like “Your London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down….”. She also has a song called “London Bridge” on this c.d. so I am thinking she kind of likes London Bridges. But it is an awesome song!

All of Nickelback’s songs are good, but one that I just don’t listen to very much is “Photograph.” I think it is a good song, and there is nothing wrong with the song but it gets boring. My dad and my sister really like it. It is one of their slower songs and that’s probably why I don’t listen to it. Because they are a rock/ metal band and they are doing a slow song, maybe it just isn’t right for them. I really don’t know why I don’t like it as much as there other songs. The only part that I can relate to is the beginning where Chad Kroeger says “Look at this photograph, every time I do it makes me laugh” because sometimes when I go back to old pictures they just make me laugh.
