I just finished listening to Katy Perry’s entire new c.d. called “One Of The Boys”. And I gotta say it is a great c.d. I mean of course it has it’s ups and downs but over all I liked all the songs.

My favorite songs of hers are “I Kissed A Girl”, “Hot N’ Cold”, and “Waking Up in Vegas”. I think all those songs are super funny and most importantly fun to listen to. I always dance and jump around when I hear “I Kissed A Girl” and I am always singing to myself in the mirror when I hear “Hot N’ Cold”. I think Katy Perry does an excellent job providing fun songs for any audience.

Some of her weaker songs are “Ur So Gay”, “Mannequin” and “Lost”. I thought “Ur So Gay” was a worthless song. I mean not fun to listen to, not good… anything. Some people may even find it offensive. “Mannequin” was just an extremely boring song. I was interested into this song at all. “Lost” was the worst song on the c.d. because of the music and the singing. I didn’t care for her singing and the music was boring. They didn’t go together.

But over all I love Katy Perry and I think she is an amazing singer. She proved it with “I Kissed A Girl”. So I hope she keeps up the good work and hopefully she doesn’t just sing what people write for her. I hope she sings that are her and that she likes because if she likes it then her audience (me) will like it too.

My new favorite song is “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry! I know right? It sounds a little weird because a girl sings it but it such a great song. I listen to a radio show called JohnJay and Rich and they had an interview with Madonna about a week ago. Madonna said her favorite song was “Ur So Gay” by Katy Perry. And then this morning they had an interview with Katy Perry so I decided I would check her out and I found this song! It has like the best beat and her voice is awesome! I don’t know if she is serious in this song (about kissing a girl) but I don’t care! It is a great song! I think it is funny when she says “I hope my boyfriend don’t mind it”. Ha-ha. I like finding new artist and songs and this is the best one that I have found recently. She is a good singer, so I am going to go listen to her other songs. I bet I will like them because I like this one so much!
