Mad As Rabbits - Panic! At The Disco Lyrics

Posted on April 15th, 2008 in Panic! At The Disco, Song of the Day by Tatertot

Panic! At the DiscoOh my gosh! The best song that I have heard from Panic! At The Disco is “Mad As Rabbits”!!!! It is so different from their songs on their first c.d. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. I LOVE the beginning when Brendon Urie says “Come Save me from walking off a windowsill” and then Ryan Ross (who plays guitar most of the time) sings a verse after Brendon in the song. And surprisingly he does a excellent job! I still like Brendon best but now I know the Ryan’s name now. This is the slowest and the quietest song that I have heard by Panic! At The Disco. The music video is pretty weird. All their songs don’t really make sense but I think I understand this one a little bit. Because the music video has a part where the band is drinking tea wearing hats, I think it has to do a little bit with Alice In Wonderland. Well not that is has to do with it, but that it is similar to Alica In Wonderland. Plus it is called “Mad As Rabbits” and in Alice In Wonderland there were rabbits that were mad. And the rabbits were drinking tea and wearing hats! Ha-ha. I guess you could say it is Pretty. Odd. Ha-ha that is the name of their new c.d. that this song is on. I think the new title suits them and definitely this song. I am in love with it already and I can’t wait till I hear their other new songs.

Love,

Tayler!

Here are the lyrics for “Mad As Rabbits”:

Come save me from walking off a windowsill
or I’ll sleep in the rain.
Don’t you remember when I was a bird
and you were a map?
Now he drags down miles in America
briefcase in hand.
The stove is creeping up his spine again,
can’t get enough trash.

He took the days for pageant
Became as mad as rabbits
With bushels of bad habits
Who could ask for anymore?
Yeah who could have more.

His arms were the branches of a Christmas tree
preached the devil in the belfry.
He checked in
to learn his clothes had been thieved at the train station.
Rope hung his other branch
and at the end was a dog called bambi
Who was chewing on his parliaments
when he tried to save the calendar business calendar business

He took the days for pageant
Became as mad as rabbits
With bushels of bad habits
Who could ask for anymore?
Yeah who could have more.

The poor son of a humble chimney sweep
fell to a cheap crowd
So stay asleep and put on that cursive type
you know we live in a toy.
Paul Cates bought himself a trumpet from the salvation army
But there ain’t no sunshine in his song
We must reinvent love
reinvent love
reinvent love

He took the days for pageant
Became as mad as rabbits
With bushels of bad habits
Who could ask for anymore?
Yeah who could have more.

We must reinvent love
reinvent love
reinvent love

Lyrics for Camisado- Panic! At the Disco

Posted on March 21st, 2008 in Panic! At The Disco, Song of the Day by Tatertot

Panic! At The DiscoI think it is kind of funny that some of the song’s names by Panic! At The Disco have nothing to do with the actual song. Like “Camisado“, this song doesn’t say Camisado in it once. I don’t even think Camisado is an actual word. Although it is a weird name, it is a great song. I like the lyrics when he says “Can’t take the kid from the fight, take the fight from the kid” I don’t know how that works but Panic! At The Disco is so weird and their lyrics never make any sense but I love them for that. I like how all there music is up beat and it hard to sing every word to their song because it is fast and Brendon Urie is singing during the whole song. I also like how they have a quick little drum solo right before he sings the last verse. It leads up to the end and gets louder and makes you all hypes up for it!
Love,
Tayler!

Here are the lyrics for “Camisado”:

The I.V. and your hospital bed
This was no accident,
This was a therapeutic chain of events…

This is the scent of dead skin on a linoleum floor,
This is the scent of quarantine wings in a hospital
It’s not so pleasant,
And it’s not so conventional
It sure as hell ain’t normal,
But we deal, we deal

The anesthetic never set in and I’m wondering where
The apathy and urgency is that I thought I phoned in
It’s not so pleasant,
And it’s not so conventional
It sure as hell ain’t normal,
But we deal, we deal

Just sit back, just sit back
Just sit back and relax
Just sit back, just sit back
Just sit back and relapse again…

Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Sit back, relax
Sit back, relapse again
Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Just sit back, just sit back

You’re a regular decorated emergency,
You’re a regular decorated emergency

This is the scent of dead skin on a linoleum floor
This is the scent of quarantine wings in a hospital
It’s not so pleasant,
And it’s not so conventional
It sure as hell ain’t normal,
But we deal, we deal

The anesthetic never set in and I’m wondering where
The apathy and urgency is that I thought I phoned in
It’s not so pleasant,
And it’s not so conventional
It sure as hell ain’t normal,
But we deal, we deal

Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Sit back, relax
Sit back, relapse again

Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Just sit back, just sit back

Sit back, sit back,
Relax, relax,
Sit back, sit back,
UP UP, and OFF,
You can’t take the kid out of the fight…

You’re a regular decorated emergency
The bruises and contusions will remind me what you did when you wake,
You’ve earned a place atop the ICU’s hall of fame,
The camera caught you causing a commotion on the gurney again

You’re a regular decorated emergency
The bruises and contusions will remind me what you did when you wake,
You’ve earned a place atop the ICU’s hall of fame,
The camera caught you causing a commotion on the gurney again…

Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Sit back, relax
Sit back, relapse again

Can’t take the kid from the fight,
Take the fight from the kid
Just sit back, just sit back

Sit back, sit back,
Relax, relax,
Sit back, sit back,
UP UP, and OFF,
You can’t take the kid out of the fight…

The I.V. and your hospital bed
This was no accident,
This was a therapeutic chain of events.

Nine in the afternoon- Panic! At the Disco

Posted on February 15th, 2008 in Panic! At The Disco, Song of the Day by Tatertot

Panic! At the DiscoOh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Panic! At The Disco has come out with another song called “Nine in the afternoon.” Yay! They are making a c.d.! that rocks. This song is interesting it is not like their first c.d. It is not loud and punk rock. I mean it is alternative but more calm. They still have that piano/ organ in there and it is unique like their first c.d. Like usual they made a pretty weird music video. It made me laugh the first time I saw it because the main singer, Brendon Urie, is vacuuming into the camera on the floor. It looks hilarious. If you like Panic! At The Disco as much as I do, you should check out this song. I like it already.
Love,
Tayler!

Here are the lyrics for “Nine in the afternoon”:

Back to the street where we began
Feeling as good as lovers can, you know
yeah we’re feeling so good

Picking up things we shouldn’t read
It looks like the end of history as we know
It’s just the end of the world
Back to the street where we began
Feeling as good as love, you could you can

Into a place, where thoughts can bloom
Into a room where it’s nine in the afternoon
And we know that it could be
And we know that it should
And you know that you feel it too

‘Cause it’s nine in the afternoon and
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could ’cause you can so you do
We’re feeling so good
Just the way that we do

When it’s nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could ’cause you can so you do
We’re feeling so good

Back to the street
Down to our feet
Losing the feeling of feeling unique
Do ya know what I mean?

Back to the place
Where we used to say
Man it feels good to feel this way
Now I know what I mean

Back to the street, back to the place
Back to the room where it all began
Back to the room where it all began

Cause it’s nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could ’cause you can so you do
We’re feeling so good
Just the way that we do

When it’s nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could ’cause you can so you do
We’re feeling so good
Just the way that we do
When it’s nine in the afternoon

Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could ’cause you can so you do
We’re feeling so good
Just the way that we do
When it’s nine in the afternoon

Time To Dance- Panic! At The Disco

Posted on February 3rd, 2008 in Panic! At The Disco, Song of the Day by Tatertot

Panic! At The Disco“Time To Dance” must be the best song by Panic! At The Disco. At first I wouldn’t listen to it because it sounded from the beginning but it is he best song on the c.d. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. My favorite part is when he says “When I say shotgun, you say wedding. Shotgun WEDDING shotgun WEDDING!” I also like when he says “Boys will be Boys” because that is so true! I L-O-V-E this song. They have a music video but I don’t like it. So I am putting up a video that is by someone. It is just pictures of them. Sorry. The video they made doesn’t sound like Panic! At The disco to me.
Love,
Tayler!

Here are the lyrics for “Time To Dance”-

Well, she’s not bleeding on the ballroom floor
Just for the attention.
‘Cause that’s just ridiculously odd
Well she sure is gonna get it
Here’s the setting:
Fashion magazines line the walls now
The walls line the bullet holes…

Have some composure!
Where is your posture?
Oh no, no!
You’re pulling the trigger,
Pulling the trigger all wrong

Have some composure
Where is your posture?
Oh no, no!
You’re pulling the trigger,
Pulling the trigger all wrong

Give me envy
Give me malice
Give me your attention
Give me envy
Give me malice
Baby, give me a break!

When I say “Shotgun” you say “Wedding”
“Shotgun” , “Wedding”
“Shotgun” , “Wedding”

Well, she didn’t choose this role
But she’ll play it and make it sincere
So you cry, you cry
(Baby, give me a break!)
But they believe it from the tears
And the teeth right down to the blood
At her feet
Boys will be boys
Hiding in estrogen and wearing aubergine dreams
(Baby, give me a break! Break! Break! Break!)

Have some composure,
Where is your posture?
Oh no, no!
You’re pulling the trigger,
Pulling the trigger all wrong

Have some composure,
Where is your posture?
Oh no, no!
You’re pulling the trigger,
Pulling the trigger all wrong

Come on, this is screaming “Photo op.” op…
Come on, come on
This is screaming, This is screaming,
This is screaming, “Photo op.”

Boys will be boys, baby!
Boys will be boys
Boys will be boys, baby
Boys will be boys

Give me envy
Give me malice
Give me your attention
Give me envy
Give me malice
Baby, give me a break!
When I say “Shotgun” you say “Wedding”
“Shotgun” , “Wedding”
“Shotgun” , “Wedding”

Boys will be boys
Hiding in estrogen and boys will be boys
Boys will be boys
Hiding in estrogen and wearing aubergine dreams

The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage- Panic! At The Disco

Posted on January 18th, 2008 in Panic! At The Disco, Song of the Day by Tatertot

Panic! At The DiscoPanic! At The Disco is my favorite band! They are so unique and themselves. The first song I heard by them was “The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage” I liked how fast it is and how it starts right away. You don’t have to wait on music or a few seconds for the song to even start. I showed it to my dad before and he said it was giving him a headache but I am listening to it right now and he says he likes it now. I have always loved it! Even though it is the longest song title in the world! I hope they make another c.d. soon. They so far only have one called “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out”. Unfortunately they didn’t make a music video for this song but someone made a video with pictures of Panic! At The Disco and added the music. So at least you will be able to hear the song.

Love,
Tayler!

Here are the lyrics for “The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage”:

Sit tight, I’m gonna need you to keep time
Come on just snap, snap, snap your fingers for me
Good, good now we’re making some progress
Come on just tap, tap, tap your toes to the beat
And I believe this may call for a proper introduction, and well
Don’t you see, I’m the narrator, and this is just the prologue?

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Swear to shake it up, and you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Applause, applause, no wait wait
Dear studio audience, I’ve an announcement to make:
It seems the artists these days are not who you think
So we’ll pick back up on that on another page

And I believe this may call for a proper introduction, and well
Don’t you see, I’m the narrator and this is just the prologue

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Swear to shake it up, and you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Swear to shake it up, you swear to listen
Swear to shake it up, you swear to listen
Swear to shake it up, you swear to listen
Swear to shake it up, swear to shake it up

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we’re still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes

panic! At the Disco

Posted on August 25th, 2007 in Panic! At The Disco, bands/ artists by Tatertot

Panic! At the DiscoPanic! At the Disco is one of my favorite bands in the whole wide world. They sing alternative and punk. The first song I heard by them was “The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage” I heard it at my friends house, I liked it because it is up beat and unique. So I bought their c.d. and all of their songs are up beat. It makes me feel like jumping up and down. I usually listen to hip-hop maybe rap and some pop. But I am truly a rock girl at heart and this is a excellent rock/ alternative band. Plus the singer is a cutie! My favorite song by Panic! At the Disco is probably “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” it is about a bride cheating on her groom on there wedding day. And in the music video, their faces are painted really weird. So they are just an interesting band. They only have one c.d. out that I know of, it is called “A Fever You Can’t Sweat out” but hopefully they will come out with another one real soon. Panic! At The Disco is great band and probably my favorite band, although I love all kinds of different music and bands this one is spectacular. And did I mention the singer is a cutie!

Love,

Tayler!
